Must have been many know that recently appeared a nasty bug called Heartbleed that infects millions of websites. However it turns out, is not only limited to the virtual world, the bug also threatens millions of smartphones.

Heartbleed is a bug in encryption OpenSSL. If a website hit by this bug, then automatically all the data and confidential information in it will be taken by parties irresponsible for any other purpose. Has been noted, that many websites are affected by this bug, including the giant sites like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google (Gmail), Yahoo, Amazon, Etsy, GoDaddy and many more.

However, the Heartbleed attack does not stop just on a sites, according to an alert from The Hacker News (13/04), there are millions of smartphones at risk from Heartbleed bug.

Of the all series of existing Android, Jelly Bean is a version uses OpenSSL. It is estimated all the Jelly Bean Android 4.1.x will not safe from Heartbleed .

"Apple" immediately issued a statement on their products is safe and not infected with the bug because although using OpenSSL but the Cupertino company is using SSL / TLS libraries of different named Secure Transport.
